Signs of Spring

Time: 6:10 post meridiem
Temperature: 54°F
Light: Crepuscular bluish gray
Glass on Desk: Half full of chocolate soy milk

Woo hoo! The days are definitely getting longer. *wide grin* Buds on the seasonal trees in the city.

It’s so amazing to think about how the human body is designed. Sometimes I sit and marvel at the fact that I’m hungry; the fact that 3 or 4 times a day, I scarf down some food and my body turns that stuff (even school cafeteria macaroni & cheese!) into energy. Everything about the ways our bodies work … neuron firing, all that Krebs cycle stuff, the way the rods and cones in our eyes come together to view the world around us is brilliant. Fascinating and mind-boggling how it all just works. Such intricacy and myriad minute details only point to a higher being, a Creator. It’s so apparent.

I like when people say ‘nah’ instead of no. Nah denotes an ease, a kind of a kickbackness. The person who’s saying it is in a state of ‘chill.’ Anyhow I liiiiiike it.

ahhh…the days of springtime in san francisco: Delight.
goldon gate park–swing dancing on sunday afternoons; basking in sunday sunshine; brunch in Chinatown or j-town or cafe latte at G-square; praisin’ God for his majestic love and grace at Full Gospel Church of SF; hitting berkeley or height and ashbury…or even oakland–befriending the people on the streets that have no name…
i’ll be prayin’ for you sister.

hey, argo.  YES!  the human body is the most fascinating and intricate creations.  i was sitting in lecture back in the day and i just sat back in awe at how incredible the human body is.  and all i could say to God was, “wow, amazing”.  homeostasis, anaerobic metabolism, somatic sensory pathways… ohhh, yeah… gets me all excited.  😉
