What’s a girl to do when in the throes of midterms? That’s right, head to the cafes, books and laptop in tow. Only, it never fails. Everytime I sit down with my glass o’ chai and serious intentions to get down and study, the person next to me will ask me a question, which leads to an answer, which leads to another question and before I know it, I’ve left all my good scholary student intentions by the wayside and am fully engaged in conversation. It’s not a bad thing, meeting people … I’m all for it! It just seems to always happen at the most inopportune times … well, seemingly.

One more week! One more week. Just have to weather a week of midterms and then it’s sprrrrring break! Looking forward to a week in SoCal where the most ambitious thing on my agenda will be to wake up before noon. Until then, must press on. Must press on.
